Wireless Weekly

Construction and hobbyist magazines which merged in 1936

"Wireless Weekly" was founded in April of 1923 by John Scott-Taggart, OBE, and his Radio Press, Ltd. It covered technology news, receiver designs, station lists and listening tips.

"Wireless Magazine" was founded independently by Bernard Jones in 1924. It is believed the first issue appeared in February

The Titles overlapped for the last 6 months of 1926 as there was a "Wireless incorporating Wireless Weekly" published every 7 days and "Wireless Magazine" published monthly.

In March of 1935 the title
of the surviving magazine was changed to "Wireless Magazine & Modern Television".

Because of the confusion of titles, we list both magazines on one page, but
each title is displayed in separate sections
