Western Electric published a magazine aimed at its radio and communications clients and prospects from November, 1935, to November, 1948. The original publication title "Pick-Ups" was changed to "Oscillator" after the May, 1942 issue.
In addition to radio, the magazine featured two-way applications such as police radio.

Western Electric Company was an American electrical engineering and manufacturing company, the supplier to AT&T from 1881 to 1996. The company was responsible for a number of technological innovations and seminal developments in industrial management. It also served as the purchasing agent for the member companies of the Bell System.
