  1920's and 1930s.

Technical Journal from Hugo Gernsback beginning in 1920 as "Practical Electrics".
In November, 1924 it became "The Experimenter" without the short stories of the previous title, but including serials.
In April of 1926, Gernsback´s interest in futuristic tales led him to rename the title as "Amazing Stories", changing again the magazine's focus towards science fiction. An example of this publication, showing the total change in content, is included here.
