CQ / Commercial Radio

  1931-1935 Commercial Radio Operators' Magazine

Commercial Radio Magazine began in 1931 as "CQ" but was not related to the later ham radio publication. This magazine preceded the amateur operator magazine by more than a decade and was “of, by, and for commercial radio operators." Those operators might be on ships, at police stations or at commercial radio operations.
